Utvecklingsmiljön för Mac, iPhone och iPad får snart en uppdatering i form av Xcode 4. Bland nyheterna som läckt ut från WWDC 2010 där de fick en förhandsvisning och en beta-version är att Interface Builder nu är integrerat.

En lista över de nya funktioner som läckt ut kan du se nedan. Men visst ser det väldigt mycket ut som iTunes i grunden. Kan ju vara både på gott och ont men flikar verkar trevligt.

• Interface Builder becoming part of Xcode for a combined IDE.
• There is a new Counterparts View that is really convenient.
• There is a Code Snippet feature, possibly similar to Dashcode.
• LLDB will replace the current GDB debugger.
• New LLVM compiler. (2x compile speed improvement. up to 25% runtime speed improvement. On iphone up to 60% faster apps!)
• There will be Tabs.
• MDI (Multi Document Interface) where you see multiple source files within the same Xcode window.
• Great GIT Support. Improved Subversion Support, too.
• You will be able to choose different skins for the IDE.
• Revamped project and target settings for choosing build configurations, localizations, deployment target,etc.
